Thomas M. Gonzalez was born in Tampa, Florida, and educated at public schools in that city. Thereafter he graduated from Tulane University and the Florida State University College of Law.
Since graduation in 1975, Tom has been engaged in the private practice of law, exclusively representing management clients throughout the State of Florida, in matters of labor relations, equal opportunity law, wage and hour law, and all employment and personnel related matters. He served on the Executive Council, Labor and Employment Law Section of the Florida Bar, is a past president of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and past member of the Florida Bar Board of Governors. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and an Associate in the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Tom has served as the City Attorney for the City of Tampa and currently is the School Board attorney for the School Board of Hillsborough County, Florida. He is a Fellow in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers and is listed in The Best Lawyers of America.
He is a founding member of Thompson, Sizemore, Gonzalez & Hearing, Professional Association, Tampa, Florida.
