Susanne Raab is a trial lawyer at Pacific Medical Law acting exclusively for plaintiffs, and an Adjunct Professor of Law at UBC, where she teaches the medical negligence course.

Susanne's practice focuses on representing individuals who have suffered injuries as a result of medical malpractice, with a focus on birth injuries as well as catastrophic brain and spinal cord injuries. Prior to joining Pacific Medical Law, Susanne spent much of her legal career representing physicians in complex medical malpractice actions.

Susanne has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia, the Court of Appeal of British Columbia as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. Susanne also serves on the Executive of the Health Law subsection of the Canadian Bar Association (BC). She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Allard School of Law at UBC.

Susanne is actively involved in advocating for individuals living with disabilities, and is Past President of the Cerebral Palsy Association of British Columbia and founder of the Cerebral Palsy Advisory Committee. She is also a member of the Birth Injury Lawyers Alliance (www.BILA.ca) a group of lawyers across Canada who have dedicated their professional lives to representing children and families suffering avoidable birth injuries.
