Susanne "Sue" Zabloudil

Sue Zabloudil serves as managing partner for Akerman’s Los Angeles office. She advises real estate owners, developers, and investors on complex transactions throughout the United States, handling the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, joint venture structuring, sale leaseback, and ground leasing of diverse properties.

Sue’s experience spans asset classes, and she has substantial experience in large portfolio deals in the hospitality, restaurant, and retail sectors. Taking a 360 degree approach, Sue effectively partners with clients from start to finish to close and finance transactions, as well as to coordinate post-closing operations and facilities management on diverse asset classes, including hotels, restaurants, office, multifamily, and industrial/warehouses.

Sue has experience working with lenders and borrowers on all asset classes and in a variety of financing and debt mechanisms, including acquisition, construction, permanent, mezzanine, CMBS, and preferred equity.

On behalf of owners, tenants, and their representatives, Sue handles a broad range of leasing matters, including the negotiation of ground leases and traditional leases for a wide variety of uses and developments, including restaurant and retailer chains.
