Sam Hinkle is a Member in the Louisville office of Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC. He chairs the General Business Litigation Practice Group. He is also a member of the Bankruptcy, Financial Restructuring and Workouts Practice Group, the Equine Law Practice Group, Mineral and Environmental Law Practice Group and the Real Estate Finance and Development Practice Group. Mr. Hinkle's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, environmental law, equine law, bankruptcy litigation and land use disputes.
Mr. Hinkle has successfully represented clients in CERCLA, RCRA and other environmental matters, matters involving claims of lender liability and breach of fiduciary duty, actions alleging fraud and other violations of securities law and in matters concerning land use, planning, zoning and subdivision regulation. His clients include major chemical companies, energy companies, racetracks, trade organizations and clients involved in bankruptcy proceedings. He is experienced with the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, CERCLA, RCRA, the Sherman Act, the Clayton Act and other state regulated matters.
Mr. Hinkle is a member of the Louisville and American Bar Associations. He serves on the Shelby County School Board as a member and past Chair. He is a past participant of Leadership Shelby County and Leadership Louisville Bingham Fellows.
