Roger E. Harris is an accomplished trial attorney having tried over 40 cases to verdict in venues across the State of Georgia. His experience is focused in the areas of catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases arising out of medical malpractice, trucking and transportation litigation, products liability and premises liability.
Before starting his legal career, Mr. Harris worked as a marketing consultant in the consumer goods industry and then as a strategic planner in the medical device industry. As a trial attorney, Mr. Harris draws upon his strategic and analytic skills developed as a strategic planner in business, to effectively develop litigation strategies for the benefit of his clients. These strategies are geared toward cost effective and efficient resolution of cases, whether by way of settlement or trial.
He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Georgia and Massachusetts Federal District Courts.
Mr. Harris is a member of the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and the Defense Research Institute (DRI), serving on various subcommittees. He is also a member of the Professional Liability Defense Federation. Mr. Harris has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer, and he has been recognized as a Best Lawyer in America.
Mr. Harris received his J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in 1997. Prior to earning his law degree, Mr. Harris graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Marketing. He also earned an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from the University of South Carolina.
