Robert “Bob” Eckinger joined Adams and Reese in 1981 and practices in the area of complex litigation, including banking and finance, class actions, antitrust and unfair competition, and business litigation.
Representing primarily banks, accounting firms and insurance companies, Bob focuses his practice on business litigation for such institutions. Representative clients include Regions Financial Corp., Ernst & Young, Torchmark Corp., PricewaterhouseCoopers, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama and numerous pharmaceutical companies.

Bob’s significant contributions and honors include:
- Representing numerous financial institutions in litigation regarding regulatory matters, derivative suits, security cases, antitrust matters, lender liability and consumer class actions among others.
- Serving on the firm’s Executive Committee for 8 years and serving for several years as the firm’s Litigation Practice Group Leader.
