Robert A. "Bob" Wade

Bob counsels clients on fraud and abuse issues, fair market value/commercial reasonableness and developing, monitoring and documenting effective healthcare compliance programs. He currently serves as the compliance expert to the board of commissioners of Halifax Health, advising the hospital on all aspects of its Corporate Integrity Agreement. He also has experience representing healthcare clients under investigation by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Office of Inspector General.

Bob assists clients in negotiating and implementing corporate integrity agreements and in documenting and defending financial arrangements between healthcare providers, including hospitals, large health systems and referring physicians, as being of fair market value and commercially reasonable. Responsive to client needs and sensitive to their budgetary requirements, Bob is appreciated for his ability to render practical advice when it comes to applying complex healthcare law and regulation to everyday operations and business decisions.

Bob is a frequent speaker at many national and regional healthcare legal, compliance and regulatory conferences, including conferences sponsored by the American Health Lawyers Association and Health Care Compliance Association.
