ACADEMIC AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Has been professor of the undergraduate program at Universidad Anáhuac, Querétaro, teaching general law of obligations, comparative law, property and persons law, and commercial litigation practice. Currently teaches commercial insolvency proceedings on the postgraduate program at Universidad Anahuac, Querétaro, Universidad Marista, Mérida, Yucatán, as well as corporate law and dispute resolution at Universidad Iberoamericana, Torreón, Coahuila.
Professor on the master’s programs at Universidad Panamericana, Aguascalientes and Guadalajara campuses, teaching alternative dispute resolution.
Has been a professor of the undergraduate program of rules of procedure, Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, and professor of postgraduate programs at Universidad de Estudios de Postgrado en Derecho. Has also been a lecturer in different legal educational institutions sponsored by Mexico’s Supreme Court and Federal Institute of the Judiciary Branch.
Has been a speaker at several corporate and professional forums in Mexico and abroad.
Associate since 2005, partner of the firm in the litigation and arbitration practice 2015-2020, current position: Counsel. Has extensive experience in arbitration, both institutional and ad hoc procedures, involving national and multinational companies, as counsel of either party, arbitrator and co-arbitrator.
Before joining the firm, he collaborated for Hegewisch Abogados, S.C., and was senior associate in Santamarina y Steta, S.C., in the civil, commercial and arbitration practice; he was also legal counsel for the news, sports and entertainment area of TV Azteca.
