Randy Lee is a licensed physician and former practicing anesthesiologist. Randy represents hospitals, physicians, nursing homes and other health care providers in tort actions, as well as in professional licensing matters before government agencies. For the past ten years he has practiced extensively throughout the Southeast, including North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Because of his dual credentials and experience, he has ventured into some of the plaintiff-friendly venues in the Southeast in tough to defend cases with double-digit million dollar exposure. He is included in Best Lawyers in America and North Carolina Superlawyers in the field of Medical Malpractice. His first jury trial was a successful defense (hung jury) of a birth injury trial with a $49 million life care plan.
Originally from Sylvania, Georgia, Randy moved to Brooklyn, New York as a child, a combination which gives him Southern charm with City savvy. He attended Northwestern University for his undergraduate education. He then went on to complete medical school at the University of Cincinnati Medical School before completing a residency in anesthesiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Medical Center. He practiced as an anesthesiologist for several years before attending North Carolina Central School of Law at night, where he finished first in the evening program.
