Paula is an experienced trial lawyer who guides clients through the complexities of the litigation process.
She effectively handles real estate and construction litigation, employment litigation, tort litigation, and business/commercial litigation.
She represents employers in employment matters involving discrimination, wage and hour disputes, defamation, wrongful discharge, and breach of contract as well as claims brought pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1990, the Americans With Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
Paula often counsels her clients on land use litigation matters and is frequently sought out for general advice for homeowner’s associations and the issues that they face. Paula represents owners, contractors, and architects in disputes involving residential and commercial projects. Her experience includes court, as well as arbitration, proceedings.
Paula frequently conducts training of employers and management regarding the drafting and implementation of sexual harassment and disability policies as well as the requirements of other state and federal employment laws. She has spoken and written articles regarding employment matters as well.
