Patrick D. Schmidt was admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1979 and Certified by the LSUC as a Specialist in Family Law since 1992. He has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto (1974) and a Bachelor of Laws from Queens University Faculty of Law (1977). He has been re-appointed to the Ontario Family Law Rules Committee (2012 - 2015) as a representative of the Chief Justice of Superior Court of Justice.
