Nicolas Sapp specializes in all areas of intellectual property law, particularly in patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs. He renders legal opinions in all these fields.
He is the managing partner of ROBIC’s Quebec office.
Nicolas Sapp’s practice is also comprised of litigation and alternative dispute resolution in matters such as trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, patents and industrial designs. He is also specialized in the drafting and negotiating of commercial conventions namely licence, assignment and distribution agreements. He advises clients in the management of IP portfolios.
Nicolas Sapp was awarded a Bachelor of Civil Law (LL.B) from Université Laval in 1990, a Bachelor of Common Law (LL.B.) from Université de Moncton in 1992 and was called to the Québec Bar in 1993.
Besides being a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC), the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) and the International Trademark Association (INTA) Nicolas Sapp is a member of the Association littéraire et artistique internationale (ALAI) and the Voix des entrepreneurs en technologie de l’information (VETIQ).
In 1998-1999, he was President of the Jeune chambre de commerce de Québec. Previously, he was also a member of the board of directors of the Association littéraire et artistique internationale (ALAI). He is a member of the board of directors of the Voix des entrepreneurs en technologie de l’information (VETIQ).
