Neil H. Weinberg concentrates his practice in estate planning, primarily designing and implementing sophisticated estate and gift tax plans for large, wealthy family groups, corporate executives and professional corporations. He also supervises and handles the administration of complex decedent’s estates.
Neil, who is a certified public accountant, counsels family-owned businesses regarding their business succession planning issues. He assists clients to develop plans for management succession and changes in ownership and control, as well as implementing mechanisms designed to shift future growth in the business to younger generations on a tax-efficient basis.
Neil frequently speaks on estate planning and business succession planning topics before a variety of business and professional groups, including the Chicago Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Loyola University Family Business Center. In addition, Neil has written articles which have been published in Estate Planning magazine and Trusts & Estates magazine.
