Prior to creating, in 1987, Castro, Sueiro & Varela, Abogados (CSV) as equity partner, he was professionally trained at Uría & Menéndez. Presently, he is one of the partners responsible of banking and finance practice, particularly project finance and renewable energy, in KPMG Abogados, Spain.
Miguel has advised Spanish and foreign financial institutions in project finance transactions for all kinds of concessions, buildings and installations (roads, buildings, oil extraction, mining).
In the renewable energy sector, he has advised financial institutions, investment groups and developers in relation to the promotion, construction, set up, operation and sale of electricity power stations, including wind farms, photovoltaic installations, thermo solar plants and others energy installations.
Author of the chapter on Spain of “International Insurance law and Regulation” of the International Centre for Legal Studies and of other publications.
