Michelyn E. Pasteur is Of Counsel with Buhl, Little, Lynwood & Harris, where her practice focuses on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and elder law. She graduated from Michigan State University with a B.A. in Economics (1968) and a M.A. in Labor and Industrial Relations (1970). Micki served as the Director of the Bureau of Local Development Services, for the State of Michigan Department of Commerce and the Executive Director of the Grand Rapids Area Employment and Training Council before obtaining her law degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, magna cum laude, in 1991. Micki served on the Board of Directors of the Ingham County Bar Association from 2006-2009 and served as co-Chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section for several years. She is a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Section and the State Bar of Michigan Elder Law and Disability Rights Section. She has been recognized in Super Lawyers since 2007 and by Best Lawyers in the areas of Trusts and Estates as well as Elder Law since 2009. She was named as Best Lawyers Lansing "Lawyer of the Year" three times: in 2013 (Elder Law), 2015 (Insolvency and Creditor Rights) and 2020 (Elder Law).

Micki has also been active in the Michigan State University Alumni Association, serving on its Board of Directors, Mid-Michigan Chapter, from 2004-06 and again from 2009-present; she served as President of the Board in 2006. She also served on the Board of Directors of Catholic Social Services/St. Vincent Home for several years, chairing it from 1998-2000.
