Michael J. Taylor has been practicing law since 1976. He specializes in probate and estate planning and taxation.
Mr. Taylor prepares wills, revocable and irrevocable trust agreements, durable powers of attorney for financial decisions, and designations of patient advocates and assists clients meet goals of protecting minor children, avoiding probate and reducing taxes.
Mr. Taylor is a member of the West Michigan Estate Planning Council and has served on the Board of Directors. He has also served on the State Bar of Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Council. He is the past editor of the Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Journal. He is a frequent presenter on the topics of living trusts, estate tax planning and probate administration to community groups, professional organizations, and employees at company-sponsored retirement planning seminars.
