Mary Clay Morgan is a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group, Labor and Employment Practice Group, and Financial Services Litigation and Compliance Team. Her practice primarily involves the representation of defendants in both state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels.
In her litigation practice, Mary Clay has been involved with a wide variety of matters, including defending against claims involving products liability, mass torts, business torts, and commercial contract disputes. She also defends employers in a variety of employment litigation matters, including claims of discrimination, wrongful discharge, FLSA violations, and other matters arising in the workplace.
Mary Clay’s financial services litigation and regulatory work includes assisting clients with Consent Orders issued by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). This representation includes providing legal support to the independent consultants under the Foreclosure Review section of the Consent Orders and overseeing review of compliance with HAMP and other loss mitigation programs.
Mary Clay has appeared and practiced before various state and federal courts in Mississippi. She has successfully tried cases to jury verdict in both state and federal courts.
