Marsha Murray-Lusby is a partner at Dunn Carney whose practice emphasizes estate planning and administration for clients in a range of businesses and with varied assets. Marsha also helps agri-business families with the unique challenges involved in estate and tax planning for succession.
Her practice includes preparation of wills and trusts; administration of all types of trusts; administration of probate estates; estate and gift tax planning; preparation of estate and gift tax returns; and post-mortem planning, particularly involving tax, disclaimer, and environmental issues.
Marsha’s experience in both planning and administration, and her genuine interest in learning about her clients, enables her to accommodate each client’s unique family dynamic, anticipate issues and customize plans to help ensure successful administration. She views estate planning as a process and emphasizes the importance of client education and communication. Her goal is to help clients make good planning decisions to ensure peace of mind that their wishes will be carried out and family relationships will be preserved.
Within the firm, Marsha leads the Estate Planning and Administration Team and serves on the firm Executive Committee. She is active in the Oregon estate planning community and is currently serving on the Oregon Law Commission work group to modernize Oregon’s probate code.
