As President and Managing Partner of Anesi, Ozmon, Rodin, Novak & Kohen, Ltd., Mark Novak is a highly committed and respected trial attorney with over 30 years of experience. A native of New York, Mr. Novak has spent his entire legal career at Anesi Ozmon. While working as a law clerk in the firm, he was named the Outstanding Student in his Advanced Trial Practice class at Loyola University School of Law. As an associate attorney in 1978, he won his first jury trial only five months out of law school. As an equity partner of the firm since 1983, Mark has continued to champion the rights of injured people and has obtained many record settlements and verdicts on behalf of his clients.
Aside from his active trial practice, Mark’s knowledge and experience have been reflected in other areas. He has lectured and written extensively on the law relating to personal injury cases. He was chosen to sit on the prestigious Judicial Evaluation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. He also sits on a national committee on product liability law. Mark is also Chairman of the Novak Family Foundation, a charitable trust whose philanthropy includes many local and national charities and endowments in support of the arts. A long-time union supporter, Mark has endowed a scholarship for the sons and daughters of union members at Loyola Law School of Chicago.
