Juan Ramón studied Law at the University of Barcelona (1979-1984). Lawyer, member of the Barcelona Bar Association and President of its Tax Council from 2001 to 2007, awarded the medal of the Barcelona Bar Association for his career. Teacher at the University of Barcelona for other 15 years on the Spanish tax system.
Juan Ramón joined PwC in August 1989 and was promoted to Partner in July 1997. He was the leading Partner for PwC’s Tax & Legal Services (TLS) division in PwC Spain from 2006 to 2009. He is currently responsible for the Merger and Acquisitions (M&A) Department of the TLS division in Spain and member of the TLS Executive Committee in Spain.
Juan Ramón has more than 30 years’ experience in advising international groups on their Spanish tax affairs. He is widely experienced in M&A services including due diligence and tax structuring services and he has provided advisory services for over 200 inbound and outbound transactions.
