Juan Ignacio Alonso is partner of Dentons' Barcelona office. His main areas of activity are corporate and commercial law, M&A, litigation and arbitration, IP/IT, emplpyment, real estate and retail distribution. Prior to Dentons, he was a founding partner of the Spanish corporate law firm Alonso, Armand, Boedels y Associados, S.L. and Senior Associate at Garrigues.
Juan Ignacio has more than 27 years of experience advising national and international companies on all IP/IT aspects including data protection, IT contracts, digital media content, licensing agreements, franchising and distribution agreements (mainly related to international distribution networks), e-commerce/Internet transactions and privacy protection, IP, Civil and Commercial Litigation (both in trademarks and patents), Rel Estate and Construction, M&A and corporate law and Employment. He has particular expertise in sector such as industrial, automotive sector, logistic, fashion, luxury, real estate and retail in general.
He is a lecturer at various universities in Barcelona, including IEB/ISDE (Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía) and ESADE.
