Jeff has more than 20 years of experience as a trial lawyer. He concentrates his practice in product liability litigation, defending corporations in personal injury and contract claims involving vehicles, medical devices, and other consumer products. He also counsels and defends employers on worker's compensation issues and serves as national coordinating counsel for Medicare reporting for a major product manufacturer. He currently handles national defensive discovery counsel duties for a medical device manufacturer in multi-district litigation. Prior to the merger between Frost Brown Todd and Locke Reynolds, Jeff spent his entire career at Locke Reynolds.
Because Jeff believes strongly in a lawyer’s responsibility to give back to the community, Jeff devotes significant volunteer time to the arts and projects aimed at lifting up the lives of children and the indigent.
During his career, Jeff has tried more than a combination of 50 jury, bench and worker's compensation trials. These include cases involving catastrophic fires, major injuries, and breach of contract. In addition, Jeff has handled a number of appeals on varied topics including: wrongful death, catastrophic injuries, fire loss, the economic loss rule, the statute of repose, admissability of expert testimony and workers compensation remedies.
