Jeff's law practice is focused representing clients in transactions involving "tax-advantaged" financing. A large portion of Jeff's law practice is focused on representing clients in affordable housing transactions and in transactions involving bonds, low-income housing tax credits and new markets tax credits. He represents local governments, housing authorities and federally-recognized Indian tribes as bond counsel and as special counsel on their low-income housing tax credit transactions. This includes representing clients in the formation and administration of partnerships for the purposes of syndicating federal tax credits. Jeff often serves as underwriter's counsel to investment banking firms in municipal bond transactions, and as counsel to syndicators and direct investors on tax credit transactions.
