In practicing matrimonial law for 50 years, James Fox Miller has been involved in numerous major commercial and contested estate litigations, and has lectured extensively on civil trial preparation and strategies. He has served as an expert witness on numerous aspects of family law and is named as one of Lawdragon's 500 Leading Lawyers In America. He is AV rated, a member of The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a Charter member of the College of Family Law Trial Lawyers.
A frequent writer and teacher of family law both in Florida and around the United States, James Fox Miller has taught the Florida Bridge The Gap program in family law to more than 5,000 young Florida lawyers. He frequently participates in programs for the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and Continuing Legal Education in family law matters throughout the United States. James Fox Miller also has been active in community activities, having served on his county's United Way Board of Directors, as President of Temple El, and as President of the Jewish Family Service of Broward County.
