Ilya has gained solid expertise in the areas of transport, energy, waste, water and healthcare working on a number of landmark infrastructure projects in the CIS, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine.
He has acted with equal success for both private investors and the state and has unique experience in the financial aspects of infrastructure projects, having advised clients on the financial closing of the first toll road concession projects in Russia. These projects are also notable for being the first examples of bond financing on the Russian PPP market.
Ilya has supported clients at all stages of infrastructure projects, including prequalification and project approval, as well as raising financing and on certain aspects of construction.
