Ian Clark is an English aircraft finance solicitor who focuses his practice on commercial transactions, litigation and international regulatory matters. Mr. Clark is closely involved in developments concerning the operating regimes affecting corporate aircraft and aircraft that are in shared ownership. He advises clients on aviation insurance coverage matters and is experienced in cases arising out of aircraft accidents.
Before becoming an aviation solicitor, Mr. Clark was a pilot and flying instructor in the Royal Air Force. During his service career, he received a law degree as an external student from the University of London. In addition, he is an honorary legal advisor to the British Helicopter Association. Mr. Clark has written a number of articles on aviation law and speaks regularly at aviation conferences in Europe and North America.
