Gordon is a founding member of Felesky Flynn LLP, having opened the Edmonton office in 1980. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1991 and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta (ICAA) in 2001.
He has taken an active role in the affairs of both ICAA and the Law Society of Alberta, serving as president of the Law Society 1997-1999. He is a past governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation, past chair of the Alberta Law Foundation, and past member of the Judicial Council. He has been a member of a number of government task forces.
Gordon has taken a particular interest in the education of students and young accountants and lawyers. He lectured for ICAA for many years and for the Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce and the Faculty of Law at the University of Alberta.
Gordon has recently reduced his day-to-day involvement in client files but maintains a close relationship with the firm and continues to provide guidance and assistance to firm members.
