Workers' Compensation Law - Claimants

Spinning circle Big letter B

Originally from Prairie Village, Kansas, George Pearson has practiced Workers Compensation Law for the past 35 years representing clients all over the state of Kansas. Specializing in legal representation for injured workers in workers compensation cases he has earned a reputation for compassionate legal services and a tenacity to get the job done for his clients as efficiently as possible. The law is not built for speed and certainly whether the workers compensation system or the District Court for a jury trial in a personal injury case, George Pearson is known for aggressively pushing and moving the case through the system to resolution whether by settlement or trial, and overcoming the stalling tactics of insurance companies and their minions.

George's tenacity earned him the nickname "Bulldog" among his peers in the early years of his legal career. He has not mellowed with time and experience but that experience and connections he has made during his career have frequently allowed him to resolve cases sooner rather than later. Receiving the highest ranking by AVVO Legal at 10 out of 10 and with consistent 5 Star Reviews from clients, George Pearson is recognized as a talented lawyer who represents his clients zealously and who takes pride in clients who are happy with his services and the results he obtains for them.

George's fees for his services are reasonable and no fee is ever charged unless a recovery is obtained. In workers compensation cases the fee is the state-approved 25% fee and in motor vehicle accident cases it is the pretty standard in the industry 33% contingency fee. There is never a fee unless a recovery is obtained on behalf of the client and the client has the ultimate authority to decide whether a settlement offer is good enough to accept.

George Pearson graduated from the Washburn University School of Law and has lectured other lawyers in the field of workers compensation and ethics and has authored articles for other lawyers pertaining to workers compensation.
