Eric Schiller, a Chambers USA-recognized lawyer, has more than 30 years of experience representing major corporate and institutional clients on a nationwide basis in a wide variety of real estate and commercial finance matters. He is particularly active and experienced in financings, joint ventures, commercial leases, real estate acquisitions, sales matters and workouts.
Eric’s track record spans the full panoply of financing, including construction loans, syndications, large loan securitizations and secured and unsecured portfolios, bridge and mezzanine loans, as well as equity investment transactions. He has also done extensive work on multistate, multi-asset real estate and commercial transactions. He has handled matters involving virtually every type of real estate, including office buildings, industrial buildings, shopping centers, hotels and apartment complexes. He has been actively involved in the representation of parties in connection with troubled real estate on a nationwide basis.
Eric has lectured and written on subjects including complex multibank financing transactions, equity and mezzanine investments and the restructuring of troubled loans for the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL), the American Law Institute (ALI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
He served as a member of Dentons' Policy and Planning Committee.
