Elena has over 20 years of experience of advising on antitrust law and legislation on advertising, as well as legislation on public procurement. She has extensive experience of holding antitrust audits and implementing compliance, and of providing support to clients in the context of scheduled and unscheduled inspections conducted by the FAS of Russia. She represents clients both before the FAS of Russia and in court in all cases within the FAS’s competence. Elena’s professional experience includes implementing projects for companies from various sectors. Elena is a member of Competition Experts Association, of the not-for-profit partnership “Competition Support in the CIS Countries”, of the FAS’s Expert Panel for Promoting Competition in the social sphere and healthcare, of the competition committee of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and of the Consultative Committee of the Eurasian Economic Commission ("EEC") for Competition and Antitrust Regulation, Price Controls, and Public (Municipal) Procurement.
Elena got her Postgraduate Diploma in European Competition law at the King’s College (London).

Elena's major projects include, among others:
- successfully represented a major US manufacturer of construction equipment before the EEC;
- developed and implemented a system of antitrust compliance in the activity of MTS, a Russian mobile operator;
- represented a major pharmaceutical company before the FAS when the issue of the interchangeability of medicines was considered.
Elena worked for the FAS for seven years, including as departmental head within the FAS’s legal division. According to Chambers and Partners and Legal 500, Pepeliaev Group’s antitrust practice is one of the strongest practices in Russia. Elena has authored articles in a number of foreign and Russian professional publications, such as Vedomosti, Corporate Lawyer, and The Global Competition Review. She also has extensive experience of speaking at conferences on issues relating to antitrust legislation. In addition, she is the lead expert of and a regular contributor to “Competition and Law” magazine.
