Hutch Robbins is a principal in the firm’s Commercial and Business
Litigation practice group, and from 2006 through 2016 he served as the
Chair and co-Chair of the practice group. He represents a broad array of
businesses and individuals in business litigation, and he has extensive
experience in all facets of state and federal trial and appellate
practice. Hutch focuses much of his practice on the representation of
financial institutions, but he also routinely represents parties to
business disputes concerning, among other issues, sales of goods under
the Uniform Commercial Code, breaches of fiduciary duty and fraud in
corporate governance, ownership of real property and related property
rights, breaches of contract, and business torts. Hutch counsels the
firm’s clients in the areas of risk avoidance and alternative dispute
resolution, and he provides contract review and business strategy advice
to several of his clients. Hutch also serves as the President of the
Board of Directors of the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service, and is a
Trustee of Baltimore Center Stage.
