Rolf M. Winkler studied law at the universities of Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and Tübingen, took his doctorate at the University of Frankfurt (Dr. jur.) and obtained an LL.M. from the University of California (Berkeley). He has been a lecturer at the Legal Faculty of the University of Heidelberg on the law of international dispute settlement since 2008. Rolf M. Winkler is a member of the board of the German-American Lawyers’ Association (DAJV) and chair of the specialist group Arbitration, Litigation, Mediation (2004-2018); in addition, he is member of the International Council of Commercial Arbitration (ICCA) of the ASA, IBA and DIS.
