David Corry is a partner in the firm’s Calgary office practicing in the areas of management labour, employment and human rights law. His practice includes litigation, arbitrations, labour boards, and human rights tribunals. He also negotiates and advises on employment agreements, mergers and acquisitions, labour disputes, and workplace restructuring. He instructs management in the areas of negotiation, collective bargaining and labour and employment relations.
David is the author of several leading text books on collective bargaining, labour disputes, negotiation, illness and disability in the workplace, and employment litigation. Many of these writings are available online through WestLaw and PracticalLaw offered by Thompson Reuters. He is a former instructor in labour and employment law at the University of Calgary in both the faculties of management and law.
David represents diverse client groups including employers in the federal and provincial sectors, transportation companies, construction companies, the grocery and meat packing industries, energy companies, public and government organizations, the telecommunications industry, school boards, charter schools and municipalities.
