Curtis E. Beason joined Lane & Waterman in 1980 and focuses primarily in Corporate & Transactional Law while specializing in gaming law and other areas of the regulatory and legislative practice. He has been involved in gaming law since the passage of the enabling riverboat gaming legislation in Iowa in 1989. He serves as Iowa regulatory counsel for several gaming companies, and is listed under Best Lawyers in America for Gaming Law.
Curtis is a member of Scott County, Iowa State and American Bar Associations; ABA Environmental Energy and Resources Law Section and Iowa State Bar Association Environmental Law Section.
Curtis is active in the Quad Cities community, currently serving as a Board Member of the Downtown Davenport Partnership, a division of the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce, and River Music Experience, a 501(c)3 Music Education Non-Profit.
Curtis received his B.A. from DePauw University in 1974 and graduate degrees from Southern Methodist University M.Th., 1980; J.D., 1980. Curt resides in Davenport, Iowa.
