Conor Ahern is an Associate in the Washington, DC office of Sanford Heisler Sharp, LLP, a national law firm with offices in the District of Columbia, New York, California, Tennessee, and Maryland. He received his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.A. from the University of Virginia.
Mr. Ahern represents employees in individual and class actions involving discrimination and civil rights. Prior to joining Sanford Heisler Sharp, Mr. Ahern worked as a staff attorney at the New York City Commission on Human Rights, the agency tasked with enforcing New York City’s anti-discrimination law, and at the ACLU’s Women’s Rights Project on a Ford Foundation Postgraduate Fellowship before that.
At Harvard Law, Mr. Ahern served as a board member of Lambda, the American Constitutional Society, Students for Reproductive Justice, and helped found Queer/Transgender People of Color. He interned with the National LGBTQ Task Force, Legal Aid at Work, and the ACLU of Pennsylvania.
