Bradley Hansmann is a Principal with Brown & James, practicing in the firm's St. Louis office. He represents corporate and insurance clients in personal injury lawsuits involving product liability and premises liability, as well as large fire and explosion cases. He also routinely handles product liability matters involving general maritime litigation. He is routinely sought out for his extensive experience in the area of natural gas and propane gas explosion cases, having handled some of the largest gas explosion cases involving residential and commercial furnaces in Missouri.
Mr. Hansmann has tried more than 60 cases to verdict as lead counsel in both state and federal courts. He has successfully tried cases ranging from automobile personal injury cases, to complex construction, products liability, insurance arson/fraud, marine liability, and maritime law.
A large portion of Mr. Hansmann's practice is dedicated to aiding clients in pre-suit investigations to assist them in risk management and resolving matters prior to litigation. He is regularly called into investigation early when an explosion, injury, or other traumatic event occurs to assist the client in preserving evidence, dealing with various agencies that may be involved, and preparing the client for what may be eventual litigation.
Mr. Hansmann routinely lectures to the insurance, risk management, and manufacturing industries on Missouri and Illinois law and claims and investigation practices.
