She advises a wide range of companies on trademark, design and patent matters, before both the Administrative Authorities and the Spanish Courts. Before joining us in 2006 Beatriz worked for Gómez Acebo & Pombo, where she worked in the area of Intellectual Property, handling matters mainly related to patents, trademarks, designs, domain names and unfair competition. As a member of the IP Team at that Firm, Beatriz represented national and international clients before the Spanish Tribunals and the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office.
She has lectured at a number of different courses and conferences relating to Industrial Property and Information Societies. In particular, Beatriz is a regular lecturer at the Fundación ESAME's specialist seminars on Life Sciences, at the Centro de Estudios para el Fomento de la Investigación (CEFI)'s seminars on Industrial Property and patents , and for Escuela de Organización Industrial (EOI) and the Spanish Bar Association. She has also written a number of articles on IP related issues.
She holds a degree in law from the University “Pontificia de Comillas” in 2001. She completed her studies with a Magister in Intellectual Property and Information Society Law by the University of Alicante.
