Anna Zabrotskaya is a Russian attorney-at-law and the Head of Dispute Resolution of Borenius, Russia.
She regularly represents international and domestic companies in Russian courts of all levels (including the Supreme Court) and advises clients regarding all aspects of civil and commercial litigation. She specializes in commercial and civil law disputes, including disputes with state authorities, as well as in representation of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings. One of Anna's strongest areas of expertise is recognition and enforcement in Russia of foreign arbitral awards and decisions of foreign courts. She also represents clients in international disputes resolved under the rules of different arbitration institutes, e.g. such as the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce (ICAC), the Maritime Arbitration Commission (MAC) and the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC).
Anna was named “Lawyer of the Year” in St. Petersburg in the field of Insolvency and Reorganization Law by the international ranking publication Best Lawyers.
Since 2012, Anna has been a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
Since 2015 she has been appointed to the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) Users Council.
In addition, Anna is a pioneer in the setting up of Fashion Law as a new practice area in Russia and the co-head of Fashion & Lux industry group of Borenius, Russia.
