Mrs. Anna Bogdanova graduated from the St. Petersburg State Polytechnical University with a M.Sc. in Cybernetics and a qualification of an engineer with a concentration in software development of computer technology and automated systems. Mrs. Bogdanova graduated from the St. Petersburg State University School of Law with a specialization in jurisprudence. In 1998 Mrs. Bogdanova was certified as a Patent & Trademark Attorney, with a specialization in “Industrial Designs, Trademarks, and the Protection of the Designation of Origin”.
Mrs. Bogdanova has been working in the sphere of legal protection of intellectual property since 1994. She is a specialist in the field of industrial designs and trademark registration in the Russian Federation and the CIS States, as well as in matters relating to the registration of cession and license agreements. Since obtaining the qualification of a patent attorney and joining ARS-Patent in 1998, Mrs. Bogdanova has had extensive practice in all areas of legal protection of Russian and foreign industrial designs and trademarks, including providing counsel with respect to copyright, infringement, and unfair competition issues and defending the interests of trademark and industrial design owners before the Chamber of Patent Disputes of the Russian Patent and Trademark Office. Mrs. Bogdanova regularly participates in international conferences and symposiums concerned with the protection of industrial property. Mrs. Bogdanova also has experience in lecturing business and professional groups on trademark topics.
