Andrew has more than 35 years’ experience in superannuation, trusts, estate and succession planning. He is considered one of Australia’s pre-eminent superannuation lawyers and advises his clients on self-managed superannuation, estate and trust planning, restructuring of family trusts and companies, inter-generational wealth transfers and disputes, and philanthropy.
Andrew is also experienced in the development of strategies for the holding, management and protection of family assets and business interests. He represents many successful Australian individuals and families, advising on their trusts, companies, and self-managed superannuation funds.Andrew founded and then chaired the Law Council of Australia Superannuation Committee for ten years, and has maintained a close interest in the development of superannuation law and policy in his role as Chair of Equipsuper, an $8 billion industry super fund. He has always believed that to effectively represent client interests, it is necessary to understand the business model of their enterprises, and their aspirations as a family.
