As counsel to the firm Alexandra brings her extensive expertise as a trial lawyer to bear on all issues relating to family law, including her special interest in dealing with issues involving children and the challenges of support and property division in complex matters.
Over her 30+ years of practice, Alexandra developed strong and unique problem solving approaches to lasting resolutions. She utilized all manner of dispute resolution. Her past court work provides a strong backdrop for assisting and molding final resolutions for parties.
Alexandra is cognizant of the damage that can be done from the ongoing conflict arising from familial disputes. Her mantra to all clients is to try to resolve matters sooner than later for the sake of the family unit.
As Counsel, she will continue to work with all of the lawyers and provide support and advice as needed. Alexandra has litigated at every level of the Ontario Courts on all issues of family law. She graduated from the University of Ottawa (Common Law) in 1987 and was admitted to the Bar in 1989. She has a B.A. (Hons) from the University of Alberta. She retired as a Partner of the firm December 31, 2019
