Alain Létourneau, QC, Ad. E.
Alain Létourneau boasts more than 55 years’ experience in courts of law, including the Supreme Court of Canada. His practice is in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in insurance, a field in which he is recognized nationwide for his expertise. A member of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers, he is also in demand as a speaker and is the author of a host of legal articles, primarily in the area of insurance.
Mr. Létourneau has served-and still serves today-on various Quebec Bar committees tasked with reviewing civil codes and proceedings, for which he earned the Quebec Bar Merit award. He was president of the Montreal Bar in the early 1990s and today is chair of the Quebec Bar Foundation. He is often called on as an arbitrator in a range of fields.
