Craig Smith and Ricky John have similar beginnings; both are from Shreveport and have graduated from Loyola College Prep and LSU Law School. Now, as law partners, they practice in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels. Both are members of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the Federal Fifth Circuit Bar Association.

Craig and Ricky are currently serving third terms in the House of Delegates of the Louisiana State Bar Association for the First Judicial District Court which encompasses all of Caddo Parish. The House of Delegates is the policy making body of the Louisiana State Bar Association. Craig and Ricky are barrister members of the Harry V. Booth and Henry A. Politz Chapter of the American Inns of Court which is a group of select judges and lawyers dedicated to improving the skills, professionalism, and ethics of the bench and bar. Craig chairs the Criminal Law Committee of the Shreveport Bar Association and is a board member of the Shreveport Criminal Defense Bar Association. Ricky chairs the Continuing Legal Education Committee for the Shreveport Bar Association. Craig and Ricky have both been listed as two of the best lawyers in the Shreveport-Bossier area in SB Magazines “Top Lawyers” issue for 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Both Craig and Ricky are dedicated to providing their clients with legal representation that caters to each client's individual needs.
