Ellen C. Brotman began her career as a law clerk in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York. She has served as an Assistant Federal Defender in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and practiced in small, medium and large firms with a focus on criminal defense, appellate advocacy, professional responsibility and ethics. She has defended a wide variety of high-profile criminal cases, including political and public corruption, securities fraud, tax fraud, money laundering, currency structuring and other white-collar crimes involving complex trial, sentencing and appellate issues. Ellen C. Daniel Austin has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems. He retired from General Electric after 25 years in management with roles in Information Technology where he was Chief Information Officer with GE Plastics and GE Capital, Compliance (Audit/Sarbanes-Oxley at GE Corporate), Quality (Certified Quality Leader and Master Blackbelt with GE Corporate), Operations and Sales (Vice President, National Sales and Operations with GE Capital). Mr. Austin now brings his extensive management experience to his role as Chief Operations Officer at Brotman Law.
