The lawyers of Beth Silverman and Associates practice family law in many capacities. Each lawyer is trained in litigation, collaboration, negotiation and all aspects of alternative dispute resolution. Each client must decide, with counsel’s input, which process will best serve their needs, given their individual circumstances.
Of equal importance is the understanding by each attorney, paralegal and staff member that we are being asked for help at a time of crisis. Our goal is to recognize each client’s needs at a vulnerable and often frightening time and to be attentive and responsive to these needs. Educating a client and formulating a strategic plan often reduces the anxiety that accompanies a time of uncertainty.
The law firm represents family law clients in Hamilton, Clermont, Warren and Butler counties in Ohio and Boone, Kenton and Campbell counties in Kentucky. Although the law firm consists entirely of women, we represent both men and women. Our representation is entirely gender neutral.
In our practice, we do everything in our power to assist the client in coming to a negotiated settlement. One approach to arriving at a settlement is within a collaborative law context. This is where both parties agree to use a collaborative model, rather than an adversarial model, and agree to keep their case out of the court system.
Beth was a founding member of the Cincinnati Academy of Collaborative Professionals. All of our lawyers have been trained in collaborative law.
