He acts for businesses, governments, Crown agencies and trade associations in the agri-chemical, automotive, consumer products, energy, financial services, gaming, liquor, marine, pharmaceutical, sports & entertainment and retail sectors. He is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association’s Ethics and Privacy Committee.

Bill was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988 and is a graduate of the University of Toronto (BA 1983 and LLB 1986) and Cambridge University (LLM 1989). He presents often at CLE conferences and is the author of many publications including most recently the Canada chapter in the International Comparative Legal Guide to Pharmaceutical Advertising 2015 and the Canada chapter of the GTDT international Advertising and Marketing Guide, 2015.
