Bill has been with the firm since 1980 and currently serves as Stoll Keenon Ogden's Managing Director. He is a member of the Business Litigation Practice with a focus on Equine Proceedings, Eminent Domain & Real Estate and Trust & Estate Litigation. Bill is also a member of the Real Estate and Government Relations Practices. His practice concentrates on real estate litigation, planning and zoning, government relations and thoroughbred racing regulations. Bill is AV® Preeminent™ Peer Review Rated by Martindale-Hubbell®, is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® and is honored as a Kentucky Super Lawyer for his many legal accomplishments. A former State Representative in the Kentucky General Assembly from 1985 to 1994, he gained considerable experience in economic development and was recognized by the governor with the inaugural Economic Development Leadership Award. Bill is a member of the Fayette County, Kentucky and American Bar Associations. He gives back to the community by serving as a Trustee for the Keeneland Association, Vice Chair of Economic Development for Commerce Lexington, a Board member for the Lexington Strides Ahead Foundation, Board of Managers for the Commonwealth Seed Capital Corporation, Vice Chair for the Greater Louisville Business Leaders for Education and a Board Member for the Speed Art Museum. Married with three children and five grandchildren, Bill enjoys golf, hunting and hiking in his free time.
