She has also been voted by her peers as one of Australia’s Best Lawyers in medical negligence annually since 2014 and in litigation in the 2016 guide. She acts for some of Australia’s leading insurers and self insureds advising on professional negligence, public liability, property damage and construction risk claims. Wendy also advises on policy wording and interpretation and indemnity issues.
In the area of life sciences, Wendy advises medical device, pharmaceutical and complementary medicine manufacturers and suppliers on product liability matters, regulatory regimes, industry codes, compliance and statutory breaches. She also advises businesses on product recall and legal strategies for corporate risk management.
Wendy has an extensive practice in the education sector; her clients include schools and tertiary institutions. She has undertaken legal work for leading Sydney independent schools and the Department of Education and Communities and acted in a range of issues including child protection matters, bullying, negligence, breach of contract, discrimination and general commercial matters.
