TRACY LeROY focuses on litigation and dispute resolution for energy industry participants. She has recently handled cases related to renewable fuel commodities, agricultural commodities, drilling rights, leasehold disputes, and disputes over agreements surrounding the exploration, production, and transportation of oil and gas. Ms. LeRoy also represents companies in the energy industry, and their officers and directors, in internal and independent investigations of corporate conduct, compliance, and reporting, including representing audit committees and special litigation committees in such matters.
Ms. LeRoy also regularly represents employers in a variety of employment-related litigation, including trade secret litigation, litigation regarding the enforceability of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, discrimination claims, whistleblower claims, and claims of fraud, tortious interference, and breach of fiduciary duty emanating from various industries and commercial sectors. She also represents financial institutions and issuers of securities in derivative and securities class action litigation, in shareholder proxy disputes, and in other complex litigation.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ms. LeRoy practiced with international law firms based in Houston and Chicago, and a regional firm based in Spokane.
