Tirso Gracia heads the Employment law department, having joined the firm
in 2006, when his office merged with Ventura Garcés & López-Ibor
after many years of close collaboration.
He has wide experience in advising companies in the printing,
publishing, fashion, leather goods, steel, food and chemical sectors,
and in addition has led various restructuring operations in large
companies, negotiating with the works councils and unions.
Much of his work involves acting on behalf of clients in the labour
courts, as well as before arbitration panels and collective agreement
committees in mediation proceedings.
He regularly takes part in the negotiation of collective bargaining
agreements for the leather goods sector in Madrid and Catalonia and was
also involved in negotiating the Assistance Scheme for the Shoes,
Leather and Leather Goods sector for 2007.
He is an associate lecturer in Industrial Relations at the Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA) in Barcelona.
